What is Intellergy?

• What is Intellergy Corporation?

Intellergy is a California Corporation that offers a service to use its nationally and internationally patented transportable bio-refinery that employs Clean Tech non-combustion technology to convert any organic feedstock into valuable “green” eco-products. The technology, called “steam reforming”, has been used in many industrial applications for decades and uses high temperature super-heated steam (not pressurized) to cause rapid decomposition of the feedstock into valuable gases and other products. No combustion is involved to produce either the heat or the steam.

• What does Intellergy do?

Intellergy sells a service to Site Customers who have organic material that they must dispose. Intellergy does not sell equipment; we operate on a Build-Own-Operate basis so that our Site Customers do not have to become experts in our equipment and in marketing our eco-products. Intellergy focuses on sectors where the Site Customers must do something. For example, the following Site Customers have a serious problem requiring them to act: hospitals, municipalities (landfill sites), agricultural feedlots, ethanol producers, agricultural food processors, orchards and forest owners.

Importantly, the Site Customer’s organic feedstock or waste material does not have to be dry—in fact, we prefer a fairly high level of moisture in the material. So, Site Customers do not need to spend money and valuable energy to dry the material—we take it as it is.

We ask Site Customers to pay us less than what they pay now to manage their organic material. Intellergy then processes it into valuable “green” eco-products that Intellergy sells to the site owner or into Product Markets.

Intellergy’s patents are based on the modern metallurgy, chemical engineering, and process engineering techniques developed by us to increase the performance and reduce the cost of the equipment.

• What is Intellergy’s “bio-refinery” and why is it so attractive?

We bring our systems to the material needing processing. Site Customers do not have to transport their feedstock to a central plant: Intellergy brings the equipment to the feedstock. The bio-refinery is small enough to fit on a conventional tractor-trailer, is skid-mounted and is easy to install. Systems are 4 to 75 tons/day and are modular, so larger systems are easily installed.

Since there is no combustion, no air or water quality emissions, and no fossil fuel is required, Intellergy’s systems can reduce the Site Customers emissions fees and our projects can qualify for carbon credits, renewable energy credits, and other local, state, and federal incentives. The products can also qualify as “green” eco-products.

We maximize revenues while minimizing risk through our ability to produce a slate of products that can be used to sequester carbon, produce bio-fuels, ethanol additives, electricity, thermal energy, clean water, fertilizer, paraffins, and lube oil. If the feedstock is municipal solid waste, Intellergy also increases the quantity of clean, concentrated, recyclables that would otherwise end up in a landfill.
